Standards for APPEL Experiential Learning Placements |
These are the minimum standards that the Schools of Pharmacy expect to be in place by Trainers and Training Establishments when providing APPEL-accredited experiential learning placements.
These standards align with the legislation and criteria established by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland regarding the provision of pharmacy education.
The Standards are intended to underpin all APPEL placements to promote the educational experience of students.

Sample CPD Cycle Book | APPEL has developed sample CPD cycles based on some feedback that pharmacists shared regarding their experiences of supervising students. These cycles are intended to illustrate how pharmacists can incorporate their own experiences of supervising students into their own professional learning journeys. |
APPEL Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Acceptable Usage Policy | The following terms and conditions govern your access to and use of the APPEL Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). They must be read and agreed to by all users of APPEL’s VLE before access to the VLE will be granted. |
